Because wine is culture and knowledge, and we have made it the focus of meetings, events, wine tastings, and moments to be enjoyed together.
After last year’s great success (more than 40,000 visitors, 180 exhibitors, and 2,000 labels), the great Vini nel Mondo festival is returning.
Come enjoy three event-filled days for all tastes and interests, as well as the exciting centrepiece:
THE WHITE NIGHT OF WINE
a glittering event that illuminates the city with lights (all public establishments will remain open until morning), music (including rock, jazz, swing, and classical concerts), and shows (with street entertainers working their surprising magic). A white night with a thousand colours, where you can lose – and rediscover – yourself as you enjoy the flavour of life and quality entertainment. And of course, this same quality can be found in the star of our event: the wine that we have to offer.
During the event’s three days, visitors can deepen their wine culture at
INFORMATIVE GATHERINGS
dedicated to foreign markets for quality Italian wine (guidelines, trends, suggestions), Italian native grapes (between rediscovering the typical product and defending traditions), and the relationship between wine and art (with particular focus on the past two centuries).
And for the event’s entire duration, true wine-lovers will enjoy
GUIDED TASTINGS
A broad selection of theme-based encounters led by professional experts, tasting special wines that stand out in character, origin, tradition, and force of expression (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot will be among the featured guests).
You are invited to Spoleto – a city rich in history, culture, and tradition – to become acquainted with, appreciate, taste – and, if you wish, purchase – thousands of different labels produced by hundreds of quality wine cellars. Come walk through the streets, through the piazzas and places of culture, and feel free to explore the long and winding exhibition of bottles of every kind – red, white, and rosé; noble wines and table wines, sweet, dry, sparkling, and every other possible variety – all in a setting of shows, meetings, and continuous entertainment.
This is Vini nel Mondo: a festival of taste, open to all and rich in myriad points of interest. And thus we welcome one and all – even teetotallers, who will enjoy themselves so much that they will forget all about their minor shortcoming.
